Chris, Kelsey and the kids have had a busy spring. Kelsey was especially busy - working with her sister, sister-in-law, and aunt - to plan and host a Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration for her parents, Doug and Beverly. The reception took place in Pecos, TX, on Sunday, April 24.
And now school has ended for this academic year. I was delighted - although not all that surprised - to learn that both of the grands received end-of-school awards. At the theater banquet, on May 14, Clara was announced as "lead tech officer" for next school year.
And Robert was chosen from all of the middle-school students to receive, from his social studies teacher, the "Certificate of Scholastic Excellence" in social studies. He was totally surprised and thrilled with this award.
