Fall in Cottonwood Country

Today I went for a short walk, down in the Bosque, hoping to capture some of the color of the season before it fades. I adore fall. The colors, the scent, and the cool air are exhilarating.





As the sun sets, the mountains turn reddish.

And once the sun sets, darkness comes quickly in this high desert.
