When we were serious about adoption, I was already preparing myself for the biggies: "Who's her real mom?" and "It's too bad you couldn't have your own children." Hello, I'm her mother and do you not see my child right here?<BR/><BR/>Chris and I entertained the idea of foster care at one time; hopefully some day we will. I think it's great to open up your home to a child who'd likely never truly felt loved or safe or happy.
