The sun rises in the east.
And the hot air balloons rise in the north (I call this the 'loonrise).
The sun sets in the west.
And the balloons set wherever they want to! Even on our neighborhood streets.

Do they offer rides? What a beautiful sky and such colorful balloons!
Betty, yes, you can purchase rides from some of them. I took a ride once and loved it. Dan and I helped work the ground crew one morning, and they gave me a free ride :-) Dan had a bad cold, and decided not to do it.

I rode in the hot air balloons in Newberg a couple of times....really enjoyed it....
